Much of the module performance affecting these parameters is achieved by the compact size and dual ground plane design of the circuit boards. The design is implemented with the following features :-

Separate digital and analog grounds are used, as well as on board voltage regulators for the power supplies and the Linear Technology LT series very low noise regulators for the analog inputs and output filter/drivers.

0.5% metal film resistors and Panasonic 2% film capacitors are used in the analog input and the output filter stages. The values are optimised to minimise thermal resistor noise (Johnson noise) and match the required source impedance of the output filter stage for best noise performance.

Each power supply line is separately LC filtered to all LSI devices.

The modules can be configured for several data streams, mono or stereo, and the DAC module features a DSP( Digital Signal Processing)‚ port as well as having hardware and software modes.Products are available, assembled and in kit form.

DIY audio can be achieved without compromise in two ways :-

1. Each assembled module purchased can be included in a design where the purchaser can combine selected modules to suit his own needs, with a minimum of electronic skills. In fact we can supply fully tested modules with complete cabling, needing only to be mounted in a suitable enclosure.

2. Most modules are available as kits for a complete DIY approach, where the enthusiast has the satisfaction of bringing the whole customised system together.

In DIY section, assembly notes and some important issues are discussed in detail with guides as to the expertise required for each product. The assembly of some modules is more difficult than others, but in any event you will be choose the combination which best suits your abilities.
